AUGUST 2013 – LOOP-POOL, RULLERHAUS, OSNABRÜCK, GERMANY
LOOP-POOL – August 17 and 18, 2013. Marjan Verkerk created a large work, 1,50 x 15,00 meters, mixed media on paper. Materials included pigment, crayon and photocopies of photographs made by Marjan in advance. This was an interaction between the artist and the musician, Joachim Raffel, who played the piano and created original sounds, composing with a loop recorder. The artist and musician worked together for two days, 4 hours each day, responding to each other’s ideas in front of a live audience. A video can be found here, and TV coverage from OS-TV (in German) is here.
